I've always been into photography, always taking pictures of everything, always had a camera with me. My dad gave me my first camera, an old Nikkormat 35mm film camera. I still have it and shoot with it. I got in my car one day and drove all around the United States for four months learning how to take better pictures. I'd never been anywhere in the US. I saw Niagara Falls, The Rocky Mountains, The Pacific Ocean, The Grand Canyon, and so much more. It was a blast.
I started out in a career as a musician. I played and toured full time for years and had a lot of adventures. I'm sure you can imagine. I used to take pictures everywhere we toured. Over time it got to the point where I was more into taking pictures everywhere we went than I was playing shows. Funny how things work out.
I've loved meeting all the new people I've worked with over the years, loved helping tell their stories with my camera and being a part of their lives for a bit. I've worked with people in love, beautiful families, ambitious professionals, and amazing actors and musicians. It's been a privilege.
These days I spend my photography time chasing around my young son trying to get him to look at the camera...
